As a student at Pepperdine, I find surfing to be a popular activity that the community gives importance to. At Pepperdine, we're called the Waves, and it's easy to see why. Surfing is a big part of life here. Our campus in Malibu, California is close to many scenic landmarks. One of the most popular is Point Dume, a spot with stunning views and great waves. My photo series, "Rhythms of the Tide," takes you from our campus to Point Dume, showing off the amazing scenery and the surfing that brings us together.
