Alexandra Terziev
Hello Friends! My name is Alexandra, I am a junior Liberal Studies for Education major and art minor studying to be a teacher. I LOVE photography! I love especially capturing spontaneous and the exciting joy filled moments in life! My photo series is a celebration of joy and childlike wonder and the magic that lingers and stays with you in the heart long after childhood. Maybe you have those childlike moments in your life. Through this collection, I invite you to return to the moments that made your soul feel light, wonder and joy. Whether, it is the thrill of dressing up just because, the freedom of dancing without rules, or watching the sunset with someone you love. These moments and more could capture joy in your life.
Each image captures a scene of playful nostalgia. The quiet joy of rereading a beloved childhood book, going to a new action thrilled experience, the pastel adventure of an Easter egg hunt, and the fearless creativity of dressing in costume not specifically for Halloween, but simply because it is fun. These photos are about honoring the sparks that still live inside us that are waiting for us to smile and laugh. With a bit of glitter, imagination, or the simple act of play; joy isn’t something we outgrow. Joy is something we carry with us.
