This project is about my dog and the everyday life we share together. I used a telephoto lens to photograph details such as fur, eyes, expressions, and small movements. These close observations allow the images to show my dog not only as a pet, but also as an individual subject with emotion, personality, and presence.
The distance created by the long lens is important to the project. It lets me get visually close while still observing from a quiet space. This reflects the relationship between my dog and me: familiar, intimate, but also shaped by moments of watching and waiting. Through this series, I want to show the small details of daily companionship and the calm rhythm of living with an animal.
