I'm drawn to open roads, unknown destinations, and silent landscapes that steal your focus. I don't romanticize the idea of adventure; put simply it's where I go to disappear into my mind and the moment. I don't take photos because I’m chasing a deeper message or trying to say something symbolic. I am selfishly trying to hold onto a moment for as long as I can before it passes: the stillness of a moment, the flight of a bird or lingering clouds held captive by peaks and valleys.

My work is shaped by spending time in national parks and rural landscape – dusty trails, long drives, and the feeling you get when you are truly alone, separated from everyone and everything. I'm drawn to honest scenes that are raw and unstaged. I’ve always appreciated photographers like Ansel Adams – not for the sake of imitating his grand style, but because he proved that straightforward documentation of a place can still carry a lot of weight. This series is simply a record of where I’ve been and what I’ve seen. The landscapes speak for themselves; I’m just the one holding the camera within each original moment.
