A lot of my photographic work centers around moments that bring me joy, both big and small. Most of my work has been centered around photographing myself in action when creating music or photographing my travels, which are two of my favorite things to do. I thought it would be nice to do something a bit different for this story, and experiment with photographing mothers and their babies.

"Mama's Boy" is the story of two mothers and two sons. I endeavor to capture the profound beauty and boundless strength inherent in the complex fabric that is a mother's love. I wanted to show the beauty in maternal connection and the different emotions that babies feel as they grow and explore their surroundings.

This photo story seeks to illuminate the ordinary moments that transform into extraordinary memories, as a mother navigates the ebb and flow of life, cradling the delicate balance between sacrifice and joy. Each frame is a testament to the resilient spirit that defines motherhood—a journey marked by vulnerability, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to nurture and protect.

I was inspired by the "Drivers of Los Angeles" photo series, photographed by Jonathan Castillo. I love the way he was able to photograph everyday moments of people in their cars and the various moods that people feel while sitting in traffic. I was inspired to try my best to photograph babies' different facial expressions and convey the various moods they feel as they explore the world around them.
